For transabdominal sampling of amniotic fluid (usually performed between 15 and 18 weeks of pregnancy) for prenatal diagnosis of genetic disorders of the foetus.
Also used for cytogenetic and biochemical examinations. The mandrel is equipped with an echo-marked tip that allows for echo-guided insertion.
The cannula is equipped with a sliding stop to determine the needle insertion depth and a luer lock connection for collecting amniotic fluid by syringe.
AMNIOCENT is available in 4 different sizes. The cannula is centimetric (1 cm resolution)* and has a double reference mark at 5 cm
