RI.MOS. offers innovative solutions for wound care through a line of advanced interactive plant-based dressings, including the medical devices Hyperoil® and MYKUTIS®, designed to optimize the wound healing process.

Hyperoil® is a line of Class IIb medical devices, available in oil, gel and impregnated gauze formulations. Its ingredients, derived from Hypericum perforatum (St. John’s Wort) and Azadirachta indica (Neem), create an environment conducive to tissue regeneration. Hyperoil® helps maintain a protective moist microenvironment, control microbial load, and promote oxygen permeability, thereby improving healing quality.

MYKUTIS® is an interactive skin substitute with a reticulated structure made of Poly-L-Lactic Acid (PLLA), combined with an oily solution based on Hypericum flower extract and Neem oil. It is indicated for the treatment of chronic or stagnant wounds that do not respond to normal healing processes, stimulating cell proliferation and accelerating tissue regeneration.

The Hyperoil® and MYKUTIS® dressings are designed for direct application to the wound bed, helping to regulate exudate release, reduce bacterial proliferation, and maintain optimal hydration of the peri-lesional skin, thus promoting natural and functional wound healing.

Thanks to the synergy between St. John’s Wort and Neem, these devices offer soothing, antimicrobial and regenerative properties, making them ideal for the treatment of chronic and acute wounds, including skin ulcers, pressure injuries, surgical wounds, burns, hemorrhoids, fissures and eczema.

MYKUTIS®

MYKUTIS® is an interactive reticular support designed to stimulate cell proliferation and accelerate tissue repair in granulating wounds with delayed growth factors.

Formulated with Poly-L-Lactic Acid (PLLA) and an oil-based solution containing Hypericum flower extract in Neem oil.

It is particularly indicated for chronic skin wounds that fail to progress in the healing process, including pressure sores, vascular and diabetic ulcers, acute traumatic wounds, first- and second-degree burns, fistulas, and subcutaneous tunnels.

MYKUTIS® is manufactured using ELECTROSPINNING, a technology that produces non-woven fabrics characterized by continuous sub-micrometric fibers with well-defined dimensions. The morphology, shape, and thickness of the obtained tissue faithfully replicate those of the tissue to be reproduced. These fabrics can mimic the fibrous protein component morphology of the extracellular matrix. Additionally, the product undergoes meshing, making it easier to mold onto the lesion bed, ensuring intimate contact, which helps promote wound healing. Furthermore, the presence of mesh spaces prevents secretions from accumulating underneath the support, allowing it to remain perfectly adhered to the wound bed.

MYKUTIS® is intended exclusively for outpatient use and must be applied by qualified healthcare professionals. It does not require fixation with staples or sutures.
