Pregnancy and Childbirth

RI.MOS. manufactures and markets medical devices dedicated to obstetrical procedures performed in the delivery room. This family includes both emergency devices and consumer products. Among these, the Vagistop, Metrastop and Ramclamp devices are of particular relevance.

Vagistop is the only medical device on the market dedicated to tamponade vaginal bleeding due to gynaecological surgery or post-partum tear. Its use replaces the use of gauze, usually applied to the vagina to stop bleeding.

Metrastop is an obstetric emergency device dedicated to the control and temporary reduction of post-partum uterine haemorrhage in cases where conservative therapeutic management is indicated. Thanks to the dual air-water balloon, the device is comfortable for the patient and can be easily re-positioned in case of dislocation from the anatomical site.

Other products dedicated to pregnancy and childbirth is Rampclamp, a device for umbilical cord closure. The medical devices that RI.MOS. dedicates to pregnancy and childbirth are developed with the collaboration of medical and nursing staff with extensive experience in the gynaecological, gestational and obstetrical fields. They are disposable devices, sterilised at EtO, produced in controlled environments, by highly qualified operators and subjected to strict quality control, in accordance with the requirements of ISO 13485 certification. These devices are CE-marked.
