The Kiwi® Omni-C™ Cup is a vacuum-assisted delivery device designed specifically for the confined abdominal space of c- section deliveries.
The Kiwi Omni-C Cup’s low profile facilities ease of insertion, decreases the likelihood for traumatic or deliberate extensions of the uterine incision, and provides the highest degree of maneuverability within the confined space of the abdominal cavity.
In addition, the Kiwi Omni-C is ideal for failed vaginal deliveries when the fetal head has partially descended into birth canal and an emergency c-section is indicated.
The Kiwi Omni-C Cup’s two finger grooves improve the cup grip and facilitate proper placement over the flexion point. Utilizing a baffle filter on the inside top of the Kiwi Omni-C helps to adequately disperse the vacuum.
With c-sections on the rise, the Kiwi Omni-C Cup is an effective device in helping physicians reduce the risks associated with this surgical procedure. In fact, use of the Kiwi at c-section contributes to less blood loss, fewer uterine incision extensions, and fewer cervical lacerations.
