Reusable high temperature electrocautery (B)
It's a reusable device with a bipolar battery, in compliance with Directive 93/42/CEE (D.L.46/97).
Total length is 300 mm and the tip lenght is 120 mm.
The fine tip permits the accurate and effective cauteriation of small vessels.
The electrocautery reaches a maximum working temperature of 1200°C (2200°F) and due to the two alkaline batteries (AA type) has a long duration.
It is mostly used in gynecology. It can be used instead of a electrosurgery unit/cable/coagulations forceps system for the cauterisation of small vessels, expecially in outpatient surgery.
It is composed by a non sterile handle and allows to replace batteries and single use sterile fine tip. Fine tip is sold together with a sterile polythene protection that allows to cover the handle during use.
